Slab Tables
These pieces are predicated on the slab of wood I find. Most recently this has been large slabs of Ambrosia Maple, Walnut, curly maple and olive slabs. The stand is simply carved and shaped to match the natural edge of the slab. These pieces can be done to any height and up to 12' long. 
The slab table pictured at right and upper right has a stand made from Birdseye Maple with Ebony points. The slab is spalted Ambrosia Maple. The table is 74" long, 28" wide and 34" tall. |
